We’re thrilled to introduce Rhapsody, a breathtaking new Block of the Month designed by the incomparable Anna Maria Parry. If you love rich color, expressive design, and quilts that feel alive with movement, this one is going to steal your heart.
 
Rhapsody is a joyful exploration of color and form — a quilt that builds month by month into a dynamic composition full of rhythm, harmony, and visual depth. Each block feels like its own small work of art, coming together into a bold, cohesive whole that is unmistakably Anna Maria.

Kit includes the quilt pattern (with included templates) and over 15 metres of fabric. Binding and backing are not included. 

Beginning in September 2026, Anna Maria will be offering the Rhapsody Block of the Month as an exciting program full of creative and skill-building opportunities, designed to explore color and applique with her.

The pattern is divided into five parts and will provide detailed fabric cutting guidance, along with the applique methods suitable for both hand and machine work. 

Pattern includes templates to aid in finishing; also, Anna Maria will be releasing free monthly videos for BOM participants which feature techniques and additional insights. 

The Rhapsody collection of fabrics was developed specifically for this quilt, making the applique cutting process feel intuitive and natural.
