We are excited to welcome Deborah Dorward teaching at Bella Fabrics. Deborah, author of Stitches Of Time, designer behind Deborah Dorward Design, has been a quilting for over 30yrs. She has been published in many Australian and International magazines and teaches in Australia and Internationally. She recently released her first fabric collection called "Elephant and Castle" for Devonstone Collections.
She draws inspiration from antique quilts and is especially inspired by Folk Art quilts and Cross Stitch wall hangings. She prefers to work with reproduction fabrics as she enjoys the history and the senses of “being here before” that speaks to her but likes to choose brighter more interesting prints. Hand quilting is a particular passion of hers and she tries to hand quilt all her quilts when possible as she prefers the softness hand quilting gives to a quilt.

Please bring along everything you need to work on one of Deborah's projects. Please come into store ahead of the class if you need help to choose a project.
Helpful information:
- Morning and afternoon tea provided.
- There are many local options for lunch around the shop. We recommend Theo's Café and Buffet which is located just a couple of doors down from the shop.
- If you prefer to bring lunch we have fridge and microwave facilities available.
- There is ample parking available right in front of the shop.
- Students will receive a 10% discount on sales in store on the day of the class.
