Don't miss this informative two day workshop! It's the perfect opportunity to learn the art of raw edge applique and free motion quilting. You will learn the skills required to make the beautiful pouch pictured.
You will require a sewing machine capable of lowering its feed dogs to participate in this class.
Materials:
The class price includes a kit containing most of the materials required to make the pouch, including pattern, fabrics, stabiliser, batting & zip,
Students should bring:
- Sewing Machine capable of Free Motion Stitching in good working order with Microtex needles. Please note that your sewing machine is not required until the second session.
- Water-soluble pen
- Sew all thread (Mettler or Rasant), in a dark grey or other dark colour.
- Sharp, small scissors, preferably with a curved point such as the Karen Kay Buckley Perfect curved scissors available at Makerie.
- Spray Baste
- Ruler (with Imperial and Metric Measurements)
