Bookings are now open for these very special sessions with Margaret Mew and Judy Newman teaching together. You will have two talented designers and experienced, highly regarded teachers sharing their knowledge and skills.
Margaret and Judy have been travelling and teaching together internationally for several years now. Their styles complement each other beautifully.
Choose from the beautiful patterns available from Judy or Margaret. In class you will get expert guidance in all elements of making a masterpiece heirloom.
Starting with understanding fabric colour and print to help with making fabric choices, and including techniques for hand piecing, curved seams, needleturn applique and English paper piecing.
As well as lots of information sharing, you will also have an overload of inspiration from Margaret and Judy and from your fellow students.
And there will be lots of chatter and laughter!
Venue:
Due to the high demand for places in these classes we have decided to try a new venue. The Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club is light and airy and will provide us with plenty of space and ample parking.
Morning and Afternoon Teas will be catered.
Helpful Information:
There is an Abode Hotel just a block away from the shop for out-of-towners, or for those who want to make the classes into a weekend retreat. The Makerie Studio is available for evening stitching sessions.
