Skill level: Complete beginner. This class is suitable for children or teens aged 8+
Join Micha to dive into the cozy craft of crochet. In this one day class kids will learn the basic skills and stitches of crochet, and will make a small amigurumi kitty project.
Crochet is a fantastic craft for kids to learn. The skills they develop include fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, self-expression and creativity, technical reading, patience, practice, endurance, and focus. Just a few basic stitches is enough to start customising your own projects.
Materials:
Class price includes crochet hook, pattern, and all materials required to make the kitty project.
Helpful information:
Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. Lunch is not included in the class price. You can bring your own lunch (we have a fridge and microwave available for use), or we can escort the kids up to Theo's Cafe near the shop to buy something if you prefer. Please advise us of any dietary restrictions.
Parents do not have to stay for the duration of the class, but please return to pick kids up promptly at 3:30pm
